Portland Trail Blazers swingman Evan Turner became part of a lot of headlines recently when it was reported that a truck crashed into his pool. Fortunately, no one from his home was hurt and the driver will be fine despite suffering serious injuries after being taken to a local hospital in southwest Portland.
Photos quickly spread on social media showing the aftermath of the crash, but Turner decided to also take some using a drone, which he then shared on his Instagram account. Blazers trainer Bruce Ely reportedly taught him how to use the device to capture the scene inside his home, according to Dan Gartland of Sports Illustrated.

Police and rescue teams quickly responded to the scene and were able to free both the driver and passenger, just in time to avoid them to suffer more injuries. For Turner, his home may be damaged severely, especially the pool area. However, he can still breathe a huge sigh of relief, knowing that a tragedy was prevented and that no one lost their lives there. For what it's worth, he also knows how to use a drone now, which could come in handy in other situations for him in the future.
