The Portland Trail Blazers were in some seriously trouble early on against the Denver Nuggets. With the two teams battling it out in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals on Sunday afternoon in Denver,  the Blazers finally found their stride in the second half en route to making a roaring comeback to take the lead.

Helping boost the team's momentum late in the third quarter, Blazers center Meyers Leonard managed to slam it home over a tandem of Nuggets big men Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee.

With the Blazers housing a litany of talented post players, Leonard has not seen a ton of playing time during the team's ongoing series against the Nuggets.

Despite serving as a veteran presence in the middle of the floor, Leonard has lost out on playing time to both Enes Kanter and Zach Collins. It is also worth noting that Leonard initially couldn't find much playing time even before Kanter came to Portland because Jusuf Nurkic remained in the fold as well.

Nurkic was then lost for the season due to injury, paving the way for Leonard to ultimately play a role in Game 7 against the Nuggets.

Leonard has notably spent his entire NBA playing career as a member of the Blazers after initially playing his collegiate basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini.
