The Portland Trail Blazers are locked in a battle with the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs. The two teams face off on Wednesday night in game two of the series between them.

In the first game, Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets went off for 37 points and was a huge reason why Denver was able to pull out the first game in the series over the Blazers.

The Blazers, for their part, are coming off of a thrilling series victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder in which Damian Lillard cemented his place as one of the best point guards in the NBA.

In Wednesday night’s game, Maurice Harkless of the Blazers was hustling for a loose ball out of bounds but ended up sending a referee lurching into the front row instead.

Harkless has been a consistently good player for the Blazers in his 4-year career there (after starting in Orlando), and he has produced 7.7 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game and 1.0 assists per game over his tenure with the team.

With good size and positional versatility, the Blazers need Harkless, so he better be careful when he’s launching himself into the stands – for both his sake and the referee’s.
