Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal underwent an MRI scan this morning for a pulled hamstring suffered in the third quarter of the team's 118-93 win over the Boston Celtics.
The MRI showed no damage, as it turned out to be hamstring tightness, according to CSN Atlantic's J. Michael. The Wizards will list him as questionable prior to Friday's game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Beal has struggled, shooting 36.6 percent from the floor and under 30 percent from three, seven games into the young season.
Expect the Wizards to be extra diligent handling this injury as they have been monitoring John Wall‘s minutes and back-to-back appearances after offseason surgery.
The team knows they stand no chance to compete in the East without both guards healthy, so they'll rather have him sit out a few games if he's not fully healthy to avoid risking re-injury.
