LeBron James has been one of the most scrutinized athletes in the world ever since he first gained prominence as a high school star at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. His son, Bronny James, another talented high school prospect, has also experienced similar scrutiny, to the point where his seemingly innocent actions can sometimes be blown out of proportion on social media.
After a video of him allegedly smoking marijuana made the rounds on social media a few months back, Bronny was once again the subject of a rumor after “liking” Larsa Pippen’s photo on Instagram. After a ridiculous report came out suggesting that Bronny and Pippen were exchanging DMs, the 16-year-old Sierra Canyon star has had enough:

In an Instagram Story that he posted, Bronny clarified that Pippen is the mother of one of his best friends and that was all there was to it. Pippen, meanwhile, had a similar response on Twitter and later threatened to sue Robert Littal of BSO:
Some of these stories are so disgusting the fact that my sons friends can’t like my pics without some ppl writing some weirdo shit is crazy.

Bronny's mother, Savannah James, also took to Instagram to defend her son and squash any rumors about her son and Pippen, saying that there are bigger problems that other people are facing and that Bronny is still a child and should not be the subject of such disgusting rumors:

Pippen has been involved in quite a bit of drama of late. Aside from putting an end to rumors between her and Bronny James, Pippen tried to say that the Minnesota Timberwolves' Malik Beasley, whom she is currently dating, was single when they started seeing each other, but Beasley's soon-to-be-ex-wife Montana Yao disputes this.
