After a forgettable stint with the Phoenix Suns last season, forward Chase Budinger will get a chance to continue his NBA career as he has agreed to a training camp deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

This, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski:

The 28-year-old will be given a look by the team that already has 15 guaranteed contracts. Though his chances of cracking the lineup seem bleak at this point, Budinger will surely give it his all and make the coaching staff of the Nets think twice on what to do with him.

Originally drafted 44th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2009 draft, the Arizona product has played for four different teams and has career averages of 7.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 19.7 minutes per game.

His numbers seem very decent but it has dwindled the last couple of seasons mostly due to a pair of knee surgeries he had to go through. Should he make it beyond the off-season and be a permanent part of the rotation, Budinger is looking to prove to all the doubters that he still belongs in the league and play at the highest level.
