The Cleveland Browns suffered a disappointing season as they finished off 6-10. This past week, wide receiver Jarvis Landry opened up about the issues they had in 2019, according to Michael David Smith of NBC Sports:

“It was tough. The talent we have, everybody recognized,” Landry said. “Knowing how close we were to getting over the hump, we never quite got there. Communication was off.” “When you don’t have everybody on the same page at all times, it can definitely screw a lot of things up. I was a part of it and you guys saw.” “We played a great Baltimore team early in the season and we did what we were designed to do. We just couldn't do it all season. We didn't really know what our true identity was.”

Despite the Browns' disappointing season, Landry played phenomenally as he had 83 catches for 1,174 yards and six touchdowns. The 27-year-old was also named to the Pro Bowl for his fourth consecutive season.

After one season, the Browns ended up firing their head coach Freddie Kitchens and hiring Kevin Stefanski. In a recent interview, Landry has some positive words about his new head coach Stefanski.

“I love where his head’s at. He’s focused on the team, not about the job, not about what we did last year,” Landry said. “His message has been clear and it’s been one message: Let’s get ready to work.”

Furthermore, this will be Landry's seventh head coach since 2015. The Browns will be seeking to make the playoffs for the first time in 18 years.
