The Cleveland Browns came up with another win on Sunday, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles, 22-17. Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was out of action against the Eagles, with the 24-year-old forced to stay home after being placed by Cleveland on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Garrett was intently tuned in on the matchup, and as the Browns emerged with the victory, the former first overall pick could not help but share how proud he is of Cleveland's defensive effort on the evening, led by DL Olivier Vernon:

“I’m smiling and crying (crying and laughing emojis) I’m so proud of the DL,’' Garrett tweeted (h/t Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com).

It's been a tough couple of weeks for Garret, who has been dealing with a knee injury since early November. On Friday, the former Texas A&M standout tested positive for COVID-19 and was reportedly also feeling ill.

Despite the absence of their star DE, the Browns still put up a valiant defensive effort against Carson Wentz and the Eagles. They held Philadelphia's star quarterback to just 21-of-35 completed passes for 235 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. It was a poor performance from the 27-year-old, and there's no denying that the Browns defensive line had a lot to do with the same.

With the win, the Browns now improve to 7-3 to secure the second spot in the AFC North. That's now back-to-back wins for Cleveland following their Week 10 victory over the Houston Texans. The Browns get to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12, and will hope to make it three consecutive victories.
