Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. likes to know what time it is. In Week 1, he sported a $189,000 Richard Mille watch. He proceeded to make headlines and rule social media for the fashion choice. A change of weeks hasn't changed his preferences of accessories, only the accessory.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com mentions that Beckham wore another watch pre-game against the New York Jets on “Monday Night Football.” It was again one of Richard Mille, this time acrylic with silver accents.

According to sports business reporter Darren Rovell, Beckham's watch is the Richard Mille 56-02. The watch has a retail price of $2,020,000 million — that's more than Phillip Lindsay's entire contract with the Denver Broncos.

He did not wear the watch in-game. Perhaps due to its price tags or the NFL's rules that strictly prohibit “uncovered hard objects.” Despite the NFL's rules, Beckham made it known last week that he plans on wearing watches, saying, via Greg Joyce of the New York Post:

“I’m gonna wear it. It shouldn’t be an issue.”

Though Beckham thinks it shouldn't be an issue, it is. Or, perhaps it's the player and the many things he's worn throughout his career that the league hasn't liked.

“That’s just my life,” Beckham said. “If it ain’t this, it’s something else. If it wasn’t the watch, it would have been the way I tied my shoes.”

Luckily, the NFL won't give Beckham a hard time for what he wears pre-game. Speaking or pre-game, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was seen mimicking a checking the time action before Monday night's game, according to Cabot.
