Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is looking healthy after tearing his ACL in late October. Beckham took part in Browns teammate Jarvis Landryâs charity softball event over the weekend and worked out with Landry last week. Landry is extremely impressed by Beckhamâs speedy recovery.
âMan, he looked amazing,â Landry told reporters. âI canât wait for you guys to see him. I canât wait for him to get back out there. Heâs in fantastic shape and heâs ready to go. Heâs only what, 6½ months [beyond surgery], and heâs already doing some things that will blow your mind away.â
Landry went on to say that Beckham was âlooking even better than he was last yearâ and was able to make explosive moves off his previously injured leg.
It sounds like Beckhamâs football workout went way better than his softball appearance, as he really struggled in a home run contest. The Browns star even whiffed a few times:

Of course, just seeing Beckham out there had to be great for the 7,000 fans in attendance at the event, which also featured Myles Garrett, Baker Mayfield and Travis Kelce.
The Browns are hoping Beckham will return healthy in 2021 and be a part of a Super Bowl contender. Without Beckham last year, Cleveland won its first playoff game since the 1994 season by beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round. The Browns gave the Kansas City Chiefs a great fight in the next game before falling just short, 22-17.
Beckham played in seven games last year and caught 23 balls for 319 yards and three touchdowns before suffering his season-ending knee injury. In 2019, he caught 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.
The 28-year-old has been posting updates on his social media about his recovery and is expected to be at the Brownsâ mandatory minicamp this week. There have been some trade rumors surrounding Beckham, but as of right now, it looks like Cleveland expects him to be a part of the team in 2021.
