The Cleveland Browns' surprising trade for Deshaun Watson drew some mixed reactions amongst fans. On one hand, football fans recognized that the trade was a massive upgrade for them. However, others felt uncomfortable supporting Watson, who recently had 22 sexual assault cases filed against him.

Recently, one Cleveland native made her feelings known about the Deshaun Watson trade. Dave Chudowsky caught this image of a woman holding up a sign in front of Browns coach Kevin Stefanski's home. The sign read, “22 women do not lie”, a reference to Watson's lawsuits.

Watson's talent at quarterback cannot be denied. In his time with the Texans, he blossomed into one of the best young QB talents in the league. However, his character came into question when twenty-two women from different states filed sexual assault cases against him. The now-Browns star was not indicted by a grand jury, but many fans still don't feel comfortable supporting him.

It's important to note that Watson is still being investigated by the league, and has some civil cases pending yet. It's entirely possible that the Browns QB could miss a significant portion of the season depending on how these things go. Still, the Browns will be ecstatic to have one of the better quarterbacks in the league.

Would this trade be worth it, though? Already, some fans are not too happy with the optics of trading for a guy with 22 different lawsuits against him. Some people in the Cleveland area have also started donating to their local Rape Crisis Center in response to the team getting Watson. The move has been incredibly divisive, and will continue to be for a long time.
