Bruno Caboclo has had a hard time making his full integration into the NBA. After being selected by the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the NBA draft back in 2014, Caboclo only saw himself in 14 regular season games. Although he does not see much playing time on the big stage, it seems the Raptors organization see potential in the young Brazilian, so they decided to exercise his third year for his rookie contract.

A majority of his time with the Raptors is spent with the Raptors 905 D-League team. Most recently, he was seen playing a fearless defensive position in the summer league against the Golden State Warriors.

With his 7′ 7″wingspan, blocking layups like this should be expected of him. His ability to watch the ball and take down attempted points could be vital to the Raptors' scheme moving forward.

Hopefully the Raptors utilize this potential small forward going into next season. With the final year of his rookie contract, he may decide it's time to look elsewhere in the league to get more playing time.
