New England Patriots fans were livid after hearing the news of long-time quarterback Tom Brady's relocation to Tampa Bay. However, a New York woman by the name of Carole Scarsella took things to a whole new level. She wrote off her hatred of Brady in her obituary, by way of her living daughter.

According to CBS Sports Boston:

“She was an avid sports fan,” the obituary reads. “Loved the New York Yankees and Lebron James. She HATED Tom Brady.”

Having an illustrious career similar to that of Brady's will surely get criticism from people everywhere. Michigan Wolverine defied the odds and worked his way up in order to get to where he is now.

As a lightly-regarded prospect coming out of college, the New England Patriots took a chance on him with the 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.  He stuck it out under head coach Bill Belichick's system for 20 seasons. He took home some of the league's most prestigious awards by being a four-time NFL passing touchdowns leader, 2009 Comeback Player of the Year winner, 14-time Pro Bowler, three-time NFL Most Valuable Player, six-time Super Bowl champion and four-time Super Bowl MVP.

Brady's tenure with the Patriots is an NFL record for the longest time playing quarterback for one franchise. However, he's all systems go for a change of scenery with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. He also picked up his former Patriots pal Rob Gronkowski to come out of retirement and reunited with him in Florida.

As he is nearing the twilight zone of his career, the GOAT can only appreciate the love and hate that he has received over the years, which ultimately made him the player that he is today.
