Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current Chicago Bears signal-caller Nick Foles went viral on Tuesday for his reaction to Tom Brady's retirement from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the NFL.

After Brady confirmed that he is calling it a career after 22 years—20 with the New England Patriots and two with the Buccaneers—Foles took to Twitter to pay tribute to the legendary quarterback. He had nothing but high praises and respect for TB12, whom he congratulated for an “unbelievable career.”

However, what sent fans chuckling about what was otherwise a heartwarming tribute is the photo that Foles attached.

Yup, that's Nick Foles and Tom Brady shaking hands before their Super Bowl LII matchup in 2018. For those not in the know, Brady snubbed Foles for a handshake after the New England Patriots lost to the Eagles in the big game.

While both players have spoken about their mutual respect for each other since then, people just can't seem to move on from that moment. Perhaps because it serves as a reminder of how pissed Brady was with the loss—with Foles giving the legendary QB one of his three defeats in the Super Bowl.

Whether it's on purpose or by accident, Foles' message to Brady as he leaves the Buccaneers and the NFL is clearly one of the best and funniest.
