The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing to host the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional matchup. Recently, Tom Brady has been silencing the haters ahead of his playoff games. Last week, he made a joke about his dropped pass against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII before Birds fans could heckle him for it ahead of their Wild Card game.

Now, Brady is defending himself against claims that he gets favorable treatment from NFL officials. He discussed the theory many people have with Jim Gray on the “Let's Go!” podcast Wednesday morning.

Brady admitted that he probably gets away with “a lot of unsportsmanlike conducts, talking smack to the other team and talking smack to the refs when I don't think I get the right call.” However, Brady completely denies that he gets more roughing the passer calls in his favor, and even wants to see that stats.

Luckily for Brady, he didn't put his foot in his mouth with this comment. According to NFL Penalties, Brady has been granted 33 roughing the passer calls since 2009. He is number nine on the list, with Matt Ryan at the top of the list with 56 calls in his favor.

When it comes to calls per attempt, the Buccaneers quarterback is even lower on the list with 0.37 calls per 100 attempts, AKA 3.7 calls per 1,000 passing attempts. He isn't being favorited, he's just that good.
