Giannis Antetokounmpo sends out a tweet in support of his teammate Sterling Brown — who was apparently a victim of police brutality by the Milwaukee Police.

Below is the Greek Freak's tweet:

Brown's incident with the police happened back in January but the video just resurfaced recently. In the video, it appeared that he was being questioned for a parking violation. One thing escalated to another and before he knew it, the Bucks rookie was being tased to the ground.

As reported by ESPN, Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales apologized and simply said:

“I am sorry this incident escalated to this level.”

Brown's legal team says they plan to pursue legal actions. In a write-up via The Guardian, Sterling talked at length about the issue, saying that it shouldn't happen to anybody. For him, this incident is bigger than himself, and sought for support:

This is bigger than me. My family, friends, legal team, Priority Sports, Milwaukee Bucks, the black community and the communities of all who stand against injustice plan to continue the fight. Peaceful support to ensure no further damage to our community is the only way to respond. I know many of you will share my anger and frustration, but for our community to progress and grow, we need to build on what we already have and not destroy it. I will take legal action against the Milwaukee police department to continue forcing change in our community.
