The Milwaukee Bucks will be without their star do-it-all player Giannis Antetokounmpo today when they host the Washington Wizards at 2 p.m. EST.

Giannis was a late scratch due to an illness.

His condition isn't expected to be serious or have him from missing any other games. The Bucks play next on Tuesday at San Antonio.

Giannis leads the Bucks in every per-game category and hasn't missed a game yet this season, so it will be interesting to see how the Bucks handle his absence.

It's likely that Mirza Teletovic or Michael Beasley will get the start with Giannis out. The Bucks only played nine players in their last game as they remain without Matthew Dellavedova as well.

Giannis' absence may also open up the door for Steve Novak, Thon Maker or Miles Plumlee.
