WWE legend and current Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has responded to Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who challenged him to a wrestling match.

Their ‘feud' began when The Greek Freak decided that he'd mess with The Rock on Instagram, together with his ‘tag-team partner' Pat Connaughton.

While the two are obviously having fun and just joking around, wouldn't it be nice to see them both in a wrestling ring? After all, Wrestlemania is just around the corner.

Imagine how great that would be. The Rock returns to the ring and then go on with one of his great promos, then an unfamiliar music hits. Giannis shows up, and challenges The Brama Bull to a match at WrestleMania. That would surely be awesome.

It will be tough to set-up that match though, as Giannis is currently leading the Milwaukee Bucks to their best start in nearly two decades, while Johnson is currently busy with his acting career, as he is set to star in movies such as Fast & Furious 10, Jungle Cruise, and Fighting with my Family this year.

However, this is not the first time that an NBA player and a professional wrestler had feuds that eventually led to either a match or a confrontation inside a wrestling ring.

NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal has had a long standing feud with WWE Superstar the Big Show. The two behemoths faced each other twice in the ring already (2009 and 2016), but never in a one-on-one match.

In 2017, Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball had a guest appearance in Monday Night Raw, where he and his father had a brief segment with WWE star The Miz.

So a confrontation between The Rock and Giannis isn't that farfetched.
