Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe has been playing like he has a chip on his shoulder. Recently, 29-year-old admitted that his and his team's determination are driven by a desire to prove their doubters wrong.

“People say a lot of things,” he told Zach Lowe of ESPN.com between Games 3 and 4 in Boston, the latter a 113-101 win for the Bucks to give them a 3-1 series lead. “We take it personally. We want to prove them wrong.”

Despite being the best team in the league throughout the regular season, there were still a lot of critics who claimed that the Bucks would eventually falter in the playoffs; that they did not have the experience or the mental fortitude to perform at the highest level when it matters most.

Well, as Bledsoe stated here, the haters have been wrong thus far. The Bucks made easy work of the Detroit Pistons in the first round, sweeping their opponents in their opening round matchup. Now in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Milwaukee hold a 3-1 advantage against the Boston Celtics following the Bucks' 113-101 Game 4 victory on Monday night.

For his part, Bledsoe did his bit for the team, scoring 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting, along with two rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a couple of blocks in 28 minutes of play against the C's.

There is a lot more riding in this series for Bledsoe and company as it was actually the Celtics that eliminated them in last season's playoffs. There's a bit of a revenge angle going on here, as the Bucks hope to prove that they have what it takes to go all the way this year.
