It appears the Milwaukee Bucks will be without star player Giannis Antetokounmpo against their cross-Midwest rival Chicago Bulls, per the team's official Twitter account.

The Bucks play the Bulls on Friday, and Antetokounmpo is listed as doubtful for that game with a right ankle sprain.

Antetokounmpo first suffered the injury on Wednesday during a game against the L.A. Clippers. It happened on a box-out attempt on a rebound. It appeared that Antetokounmpo did not step on anyone's foot, but rather he just planted his own foot awkwardly and it twisted. The video of the injury is below.

This is not the first time Antetokounmpo has injured that right ankle. He tweaked in a game earlier in the season, but did not end up missing any games because of it. He has missed games, however, due to a knee issue.

The fact that Antetokounmpo has injured the same ankle twice now is concerning. This is a team that has championship aspirations, and they need Antetokounmpo to be healthy in order to reach those goals. They are primed for a good postseason run at the moment.

Hopefully, this is not a serious issue for Antetokounmpo, as the Bucks cannot afford to have yet another one of their players injured for a significant time. They just got Jabari Parker back from injury.

Antetokounmpo is easily the team's most important player who has been relatively healthy for his entire career. This season is the first in which he has had some nagging issues at various points.

If Antetokounmpo turns out to be one of those injury-prone players, the Bucks have a huge problem on their hands.
