Milwaukee Bucks star swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo is favored to win the 2018-19 MVP award over Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George, per BetOnline.ag.

The online betting site has Antetokounmpo at a -1000 to win the MVP. Harden, who won the award last season, is at a +350 and George is at a +5000.

Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA this season. The three-time All-Star and franchise cornerstone in Milwaukee averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line. Giannis recorded 54 double-doubles and five triple-doubles.

The Bucks are currently up 2-1 on the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals. Antetokounmpo has been a monster in the postseason thus far.

Even though Harden led the NBA in scoring again and scored at least 50 points nine times during the regular season, Antetokounmpo is still the MVP favorite since the Bucks won 60 games and are the No. 1 seed in the playoffs. Giannis put up stats and led his team to the most wins. That matters a lot in the eyes of the voters.

The Bucks are hoping they win the NBA championship this season. The Golden State Warriors have already advanced to the NBA Finals.
