Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo agrees with LeBron James' stance on the NBA's decision to push through with the All-Star Game this 2020-21. The Los Angeles Lakers megastar earlier revealed that he has “zero excitement” about participating in the festivities this year given the league's current circumstances in dealing with COVID-19.

Clearly, the Greek Freak shares the same sentiments, per Zora Stephenson of FOX Sports Wisconsin.

Like LeBron, the Bucks superstar admitted that he'd rather spend time with his family rather than participate in the exhibition match slated on March 7 in Atlanta. The league initially canceled the February 14 All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis and gave the city hosting duties in 2024 instead. But the NBA and NBPA recently agreed to hold the basketball spectacle, much to LeBron and Giannis' dismay.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid also recently revealed that he also has mixed feelings about the All-Star Game this season. Other notable players have also spoken against it in recent days.

Antetokounmpo, meanwhile, has made it clear that he will remain professional and still perform his job despite his reservations. The back-to-back NBA MVP with the Bucks is again one of the top vote-getters in the first All-Star ballot returns, and he'll most likely be a starter for the fourth year in a row.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James have even been hailed as captains of their respective All-Star teams in the last two years. Their reservations regarding the matter is a clear indication that players believe it's not the proper time to hold a glorified exhibition match at this time. While it's fitting to recognize some of the top players in the league today, it's better to postpone the event until next year, as far as the Bucks forward is concerned.
