The Milwaukee Bucks were very impressive on Thursday, as they held off a second half surge by the Los Angeles Lakers, to escape with a 111-104 victory in the battle between the two best teams in the league today.

Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo had another outstanding effort, leading his side to a victory with a team-high 34 points (11-of-19 from the floor, 7-of-10 from the line), five 3-pointers, 11 rebounds, seven assists, a steal, and a block in 32 minutes of play.

Recently, Lakers veteran swingman Jared Dudley, who himself spent one year with Giannis and the Bucks during the 2014-15 season, opened up about how then-head coach Jason Kidd provided a young Antetokounmpo with NBA-related quizzes, with the objective of tapping into his leadership potential.

“I think J-Kidd helped him,” said Dudley, via The Athletic's Joe Vardon. “He made him do a quiz every game day about the NBA, about the players, about the other team.”

As they say, knowing your opponent is half the battle, and based on how he treated Giannis, Kidd is obviously a firm believer of this notion.

Dudley went on to say that as a veteran, he also did his part in trying to help Antetokounmpo develop into the leader he is today.

“As a young player, Giannis was trying to become an NBA player,” he said. “He wasn’t ready to lead at the time. That’s why guys like me and Zaza Pachulia were there showing him the ropes.”

There's no denying that whatever the Bucks did with Giannis for his development worked wonders, as he is now, without question, one of the best players in the game today.
