Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer is encouraged after his team secured a 3-1 series lead over the Boston Celtics. However, he knows that there's more to be done.

Per Kelly Price of NBC26, Budenholzer — one of the leading candidates for NBA Coach of the Year — shared how impressed he is by his team's performance in the regular season and in the ongoing postseason. He knows that he is handling a gifted crop of players.

“The way that the team played during the regular season and now has played to this point in the playoffs is encouraging, but there's still a lot to be done… We all believe that this is a special group.”

The Bucks were the best regular-season team with a 60-22 record. Apart from an MVP-level season by Giannis Antetokounmpo, key players such as Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, Malcolm Brogdon, among others, contributed to the team's success.

Their commanding 3-1 lead over the talented and experienced Celtics squad — with Brogdon injured and unable to play — has proven that Mike Budenholzer knows how to make adjustments. It also shows that the Bucks are not just a regular-season team. Doubts on their inexperience are being slowly cast aside.

Milwaukee was able to take a punch in this series — getting crushed at home in Game 1 — and forcefully respond in the next three games against an opponent with ample playoff experience.

Yet, as Mike Budenholzer said, there's a lot to be done. The main objective is to win an elusive championship trophy. Winning against a contender like the Celtics is just one piece of the larger puzzle.
