Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is locked and loaded for the resumption of the NBA season, which is a scary sight for the rest of the NBA.

Antetokounmpo suffered a knee injury after landing awkwardly on a dunk attempt against the Lakers on March 6. He did not play a game after that before the suspension of the season just a week later.

However, this long layoff has given Giannis time to recover, and Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer gave a promising update to ESPN's Jackie MacMullan:

“It's a huge advantage for us that Giannis will be completely and totally healthy,” Budenholzer tells ESPN. “He's in a great place, both mentally and physically.

The Bucks made sure to manage Antetokounmpo's minutes throughout the season. He was still producing at an MVP level despite playing a shade below 31 minutes per game. While that didn't stop him from suffering this knee injury, The Greek Freak will now be at 100% health during his pursuit of a title.

His Bucks were on pace for a historic season before the league was shut down. They stood atop the league with a 53-12 record. That comes out to an 81.5% win rate, which ranks sixth-highest in NBA history.

Four out of the five teams ahead in terms of winning percentage won championships, and the other team was the 73-9 Golden State Warriors.

While the Bucks won't be given the full opportunity to finish out this historic regular season, they can still make history by winning a title.
