Sources have told ESPN’s Zach Lowe that the Bucks have explored the possibility of trading away reserve forwards John Henson and Mirza Teletovic to improve their salary cap situation.

If Jabari Parker signs a contract extension by next week, the Bucks would creep closer to paying the luxury tax next season and would likely need to shed salary to avoid that threshold.

Both Henson and Teletovic are set to earn around $10.5 million next season and aren’t considered integral pieces to the team moving forward, which makes them ideal candidates to be moved.

However, teams will be hesitant to take on either player's contract, and the Bucks likely need to add more incentives like draft picks to make any deal work.

Henson, 26, spent time in and out of head coach Jason Kidd’s rotation last season. He played in 58 games and made 39 starts, averaging 6.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 19.4 minutes per game. The Bucks reportedly could've traded Henson earlier this offseason to make room for a Derrick Rose deal.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old Teletovic averaged just 6.4 points and shot a disappointing 37 percent from the field in 16 minutes per game during his first year in Milwaukee after signing a three-year, $31.5 million deal last summer.
