Reigning NBA MVP and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has undoubtedly made Greece one of the favorites to win the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

The Greeks recently had an exhibition game against the Italian men's national basketball team, during which Antetokounmpo dominated to lead Greece to an 83-63 victory.

Giannis scored 18 points and grabbed eight boards while only playing 19 minutes in the game. It was clear right from the beginning that Italy's defense wasn't enough to stop the Bucks star, as most of his points came from dunks and layups.

One highlight from Giannis came in the third quarter when he completely ignored Italy's defense in transition to finish the play with a monster slam.

While most NBA stars have decided not to play in the FIBA World Cup, Giannis has opted to fully commit to his country's national team.

Giannis is on his way to superstardom, and the fact that he is just 24 years old and far from his peak definitely excites a lot of Milwaukee fans. Several experts say that he's a jump shot away from becoming the NBA's next poster boy, and if he improves his shooting next season, he will surely become an even more unstoppable player.
