Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo can become a free agent in the offseason of 2021 if he doesn't sign the supermax extension with Milwaukee whenever the 2020 offseason begins.

Much has been made about Giannis' future, but Bucks shooting guard Wesley Matthews doesn't sound too worried.

The veteran told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports that Giannis is still that humble kid who is trying to make it to the NBA despite being the reigning MVP, which sort of hints that The Greek Freak isn't looking to leave the Bucks for a big market city like Los Angeles or New York.

The amount of money the Bucks can offer Giannis Antetokounmpo has unfortunately been reduced since the NBA is going to lose a lot of money due to COVID-19.

However, Giannis has said so many times that he loves living in Milwaukee and playing for the Bucks. Now, fans just have to take his word for it at this point.

Before the 2019-20 season was suspended, Giannis and the Bucks had the best record in the league again. Antetokounmpo was also the favorite to repeat as MVP despite how stellar LeBron James was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Giannis was averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists for the Bucks prior to play getting suspended. He was shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from beyond the arc and 63.3 percent from the free-throw line.
