Ryan Arcidiacono made his first career NBA start Saturday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the former Villanova Wildcat delivered with a solid performance for the Chicago Bulls.

In 29 minutes of action, Ryan Arcidiacono finished with 15 points, four rebounds and two assists while shooting an efficient 6-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. The Bulls defeated the Cavs by a final score of 99-98. Chicago is now 4-9 on the season.

Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg was so impressed with Arcidiacono, he's going to leave him in the starting lineup. Kris Dunn is still out with a knee injury. Cameron Payne was starting in Dunn's place, but it looks like Payne will be out of the rotation now, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

Payne is averaging 8.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this year. The four-year pro is shooting 39.8 percent from the floor, 31.6 percent from the 3-point line and 93.3 percent from the charity stripe. Ryan Arcidiacono is the superior defender and has showed a better command of the Bulls' offense. This is the right move by Hoiberg moving forward.

The Bulls will look to make it two wins in a row Monday when they take on the Dallas Mavericks.
