Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine played a pivotal role in his team's victory over the New York Knicks on Thursday. Before proceeding to drop buckets on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, LaVine chopped it up with ESPN television personality Stephen A. Smith. The Bulls star delivered a savage line to Smith.

LaVine didn't hold back. Just imagine the Bulls star, knowing full well that Stephen A. Smith, a hardcore Knicks fan, was gunning for his squad against one of the Eastern Conference's best in Chicago, declaring point-blank that what Smith wanted to happen wasn't going to happen.

Not only that, but LaVine went out and made himself look like a prophet, as he dropped 27 points, seven rebounds, five assists, a block and a steal on the Knicks, sending the Madison Square Garden crowd, including Smith, home disappointed.

It's surprising that LaVine didn't get a reaction video from Smith on Twitter about his savage comment on the Knicks, similar to the one made by the ESPN talent a couple days ago. One can just hear Smith already- Zach LaVine has some nerve!

LaVine and the Bulls are playing with a lot of confidence right now. The Chicago star is one of two players on the team, along with DeMar DeRozan, averaging 25-plus points. The Bulls are in second place in the Eastern Conference.

No wonder Zach LaVine is feeling good enough to go at Stephen A. Smith.
