When Dwyane Wade announced that he will join the Chicago Bulls last summer, his hometown team seemed to be the fitting destination for a grizzled and successful veteran such as the former NBA champion. His strong bond with Jimmy Butler was well publicized, and many believed that it made his decision to choose the Bulls easier.

Recently, news came out that the 12-time All-Star is being disliked by his younger Bulls teammates, and that leads many to believe that Wade's contract may be bought out by the team soon.

The newly-acquired Minnesota Timberwolves swingman addressed his former running-mate's situation recently, via Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, where he said that being disliked is the least of Dwyane Wade's worries after everything that he accomplished and currently enjoys in life.

“Hell, probably some of them can't stand or don't like me. That's fine,” Butler said.  “I'm still waking up fortunate and blessed every day, just like Dwyane is. He still has a fabulous family and a lot more important things to worry about than the opinions of others. But if they dislike him because the guy wants to win, well, then that team has some serious problems on the way.”

Despite the speculations about his relationship with his teammates, some members of the Miami Heat are, unsurprisingly, welcoming the idea of Wade possibly returning to South Beach. It goes to show that even if he may not be liked by his Bulls teammates, his former team may be ready to accept him with open arms should he decide to play for the Heat again.

If Wade's deal is ultimately bought out, the Bulls will have a new-look roster starting in October comprised of young guns that they’ll be able to build around on. Just last season, their three-headed monster of Butler, Wade, and Rajon Rondo was thought to be the core that could give the franchise a lot of success, but only a year after, all of them may no longer be a part of the team.
