Fans who left the BMO Harris Bradley Center before the final buzzer of Tuesday’s game between the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks sounded all missed a bonus fight between Bulls guard Kris Dunn and Bucks forward Khris Middleton.
With just under 20 seconds left in the game and Bulls clearly on their way to a victory with a nine-point lead, Dunn and Middleton decided that it’s just the right time to put on a sideshow.
Khris Middleton appeared to have instigated the fight by cutting down the lane in trying to post up against Kris Dunn. Middleton seemingly vented all his frustration on the sophomore Bulls guard by bullying Dunn near the baseline which resulted in a skirmish between the two. Cooler heads were able to step in, however, containing the situation before it got out of hand.
In the end, both Dunn and Middleton were ejected from the game, but it was Kris Dunn and the Bulls who got the last laugh as they edged the Bucks, 115-106. Chicago will head back home to face the New York Knicks Wednesday, while Khris Middleton and the Bucks will have a day of rest before taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Thursday.
Middleton was still lucky it wasn’t Bobby Portis whom he got entangled with. Otherwise, Middleton could’ve been left holding his own jaw together.
