Arizona Cardinals star outside linebacker Chandler Jones orchestrated a performance for the ages in his team's Week 1 opener against the Tennessee Titans.

Jones simply had his way against the Titans offensive line over the course of the contest. He managed to get to Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill with ease on a multitude of instances and showed that at this stage in his career, he still has plenty left in the tank.

After his five-sack outing against the Titans, Jones received a much-deserved boost on his overall Madden 22 rating.

At the game's launch, Jones had a 94 overall rating, which ranked only behind Myles Garrett (98) and Khalil Mack (96) among edge rushers.

Now, Jones has upped his overall Madden rating to a 95, which he is much pumped about.

The Cardinals star also improved his play recognition from a 91 to a 93 rating.

Jones had the game of his life in the clash with the Titans, which was surely a statement performance for him after an offseason filled with outside noise over whether he would be traded ahead of the season.

Jones is already among the early top candidates for the 2021 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. Sure, it was just Week 1, but this performance could go a long way in what could possibly be a historic campaign for the veteran pass rusher.
