The Arizona Cardinals seem to be rediscovering their past form, securing an important victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Players are typically in high spirits following a win, but it seems a pair of Cardinals players had some funny issues to iron out. Cardinals star linebacker Chandler Jones told reporters that he unfollowed quarterback Kyler Murray on Twitter. As for why? Jones claims he asked Murray to hit him with a follow back, though the quarterback never obliged, via Kent Somers.

That's pretty savage from Murray to blatantly ignore a follow request from a teammate, especially having been asked to accept it by the person themselves. Still, Murray seems to be paying it no mind, and as a result he lost a follower in the form of Jones. Not sure the Cardinals stand much of a chance in the playoffs if Jones isn't showing Murray's tweets some love, so hopefully the two can figure out their social media debacle before the postseason gets underway.

Obviously, there's no real bad blood between Murray and Jones. This is just a friendly joke between two teammates, and nothing more.

Murray isn't particularly active on Twitter, though he's posted on the platform a few times this week. Amid the number of mentions and followers he gets on a daily basis, it's not unrealistic to suggest he likely just forgot about Jones' request.

Still, Jones hasn't forgotten, and he fought fire with fire, knocking Murray's follower count by one. Considering Murray has over 330,000 followers on the platform, the loss of Jones won't be too crippling.
