The Arizona Cardinals had to fight tooth and nail in order to notch their first victory of the season. While their win over the Cincinnati Bengals was anything but clean, but the Cardinals were hungry for the win.

One of the players hungry for the dub was running back David Johnson. In fact, he wanted to win so much that he endured playing through an injury in order to produce for his team.

He revealed that his back suddenly locked up during the game, affecting his performance for much of the game.

“It just randomly did,” Johnson said, via AZCentral.com. “I’ll have to try to figure out what happened. . . . It is tough, but I just tried to grind through it, help out the team as much as I could.”

He will have his back checked today to see if he'll be able to play, but his stats during the game betrayed his condition.

He made 17 carries for 91 yards, covering 5.35 yards per attempt. He was also effective on the receiving end, completing three catches for 65 yards.

If he was playing like this with an uncomfortable back, one can only imagine how good he would have been without an injury bothering him.
