Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is willing to do whatever it takes to aid in a potential pursuit of Julio Jones.

Hopkins tweeted a fan asked him whether he would restructure his contract in order to free up cap in a hypothetical move for the All-Pro Atlanta Falcons wideout. The ensuing GIF would seem to suggest “Nuk” would be willing to do just that.

Kyler Murray throwing to Hopkins and Jones in 2021? Cardinals fans can only dream of such a scenario.

The buzz surrounding Jones' future has picked up a significant amount of steam in recent days. Jeff Schultz of The Athletic reported Thursday the Falcons would like to move Jones to alleviate salary-cap issues.

Might the Cardinals maneuver to pull off another stunner, as they did with the J.J. Watt signing? Well, there are challenges.

For starters, Jones carries a cap hit of over $23 million, with a base salary of $15.3 million. Additionally, Schultz reported the Falcons are seeking first-round draft compensation in exchange for the superstar receiver.

Now, the Cardinals have been quite aggressive this offseason. General manager Steve Keim has suggested the team is in the business of winning right now. However, they'd need to manifest more cap space.

Arizona currently has just over $13.5 million in cap room, per Over The Cap. The Cardinals could certainly restructure the likes of Hopkins and others, though that increases their future burden.

Still, it's quite tantalizing to envision a Cardinals offense with both Hopkins and Jones out wide. It would likely make Arizona among the most explosive offenses in the NFL.
