Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary since star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins relocated from the Houston Texans to the Arizona Cardinals. In the offseason heading to his second campaign with the team, it is evident that Hopkins is truly enjoying his time down in the desert as he posted a celebratory picture on Twitter.

Hopkins played the first seven seasons of his career with the Texans where he notched four postseason appearances. During his stay in Texas, the former Clemson standout notched three First-team All-Pro selections and four Pro Bowl appearances.

Upon entering the 2020 season, Hopkins found himself at the center of a blockbuster trade which sent him to the Cardinals along with a draft asset in exchange for running back David Johnson, a 2020 second-round pick, and a 2021 fourth-round selection.

Hopkins immediately made an impact upon his arrival to the lowly Cardinals where he recorded 1,407 receiving yards on 115 receptions and six touchdowns through 16 appearances which warranted him his fifth career Pro Bowl selection.

He eventually formed a dynamic duo with quarterback Kyler Murray although their heroics weren't enough as they were limited to tally an 8-8 record to miss the 2020 postseason picture.

On the flip side, the Texans did worse as they settled for a 4-12 record and even had a rocky relationship with quarterback Deshaun Watson.

After seeing how things transpired over in Houston, DeAndre Hopkins knows that he is already finding himself in a better place to succeed today. Despite failing to attain success in his debut campaign with the Cardinals, the All-Pro receiver will definitely look forward to reaching greater heights in the years to come.
