Baltimore Ravens safety Eric Weddle took to the mean streets of Twitter to call out quarterback Sam Bradford. Naturally, because of course, it was over money.

Obviously, Weddle's comment is funny. Then again, players — past, present and future — should celebrate each other whenever one of their own continues to make some huge loot. Rooting against Bradford to get paid would be like rooting against a colleague receiving a raise — deserved or not.

This all stems from Bradford's signing with the Arizona Cardinals. And yes, he's once again being paid ungodly amounts of money.

The former number one overall NFL Draft pick has been with the Rams, Eagles and Vikings, and signed a one-year, $20 million deal with the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Bradford appeared in just two regular-season games in 2017-18 due to knee issues that have plagued him throughout the entirety of his NFL career. However, he has shown that when healthy, he can be a capable quarterback in the league.

Weddle, a former second-round pick from back in 2007, is still expected to be playing football this season. As a safety, for the sake of our entertainment, let's hope he has a chance to face Bradford at some point in the upcoming season.

Also of note, Weddle is a five-time Pro Bowl selection. He is no slouch. While his words might come off as slander, he has the credentials to pretty much say whatever he wants.
