The Arizona Cardinals, at 4-9-1, aren't doing so hot, but Kliff Kingsbury knows that promising rookie quarterback Kyler Murray sure does look the part.

The No. 1 pick, Murray is playing up to his draft status. The dual-threat quarterback is passing and running well, throwing for 3,279 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on a 64.7% completion rate, while running for 504 yards and four touchdowns. His exciting playstyle and statistics earned him a Pro Bowl alternate bid.

If one of the three quarterbacks selected doesn't play — Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees — Murray may have to fly to Orlando. His coach Kliff Kingsbury thinks it would be an excellent opportunity for the 22-year-old.

It’d be incredible,” Kingsbury told reporters Wednesday, via Jeff Root of The Cardinals Wire. “If he could be around one of those veteran quarterbacks and see their approach to the game and how they interact with teammates and carry themselves, that’s something you can’t put a price on. Just him stepping into that arena and dealing with a bunch of other All-Pro-type players and how he handles them, it’d be fantastic.”

Kingsbury is also convinced that Murray would give the ticket buyers their money's worth, as he typically does.

“I think he’d love to go out there and run around,” Kingsbury said. “Those guys are all kind of going half-assed out there anyway, so I think he could really show out. He would try to put on a show, that’s for sure.”

Whether or not Murray plays is up to the veterans. However, if he does, the Pro Bowl could be worth tuning into for Cardinals faithful.
