After a relatively successful stint in Arizona, former Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones is leaving the team. The 32-year-old signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason, with the deal being made official on Thursday night. It left a few fans of his former team a little saddened.

Kyler Murray, the Cardinals' star QB, was also saddened by the news. Murray took to Twitter to thank Jones for his presence on the team.

Jones spent the majority of his career with the Cardinals, heading to the team after a stint with the New England Patriots. In Arizona, Jones blossomed into one of the best pass rushers in the league. However, his teams never seemed to make it far into the postseason, if they even made it there at all.

Last season, Jones was off to a roaring start, recording five sacks in the Cardinals' season-opener against the Tennessee Titans. However, since that game, the linebacker has been rather mediocre, recording a total of 5 and a half sacks over his next fourteen games. He seemed to have lost a step as the season went on.

Now, Jones is hoping to revitalize himself on a loaded Raiders team. He'll be teaming up with second-team All-Pro Maxx Crosby, as they'll look to break all hell against their opponents. Murray might be saddened that Jones is gone from the Cardinals, but he'll at least be glad that he moved out of the conference.
