The Arizona Cardinals will soon be without the services of future Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald as the veteran pass-catcher continues to draw nearer and nearer to the end of his NFL playing career. However, while the Cardinals still have Fitzgerald on the field, one would think that Arizona would do all it could to get him the football — which hasn't been the case thus far into the 2019-20 regular season.

Despite his limited receptions this season, Fitzgerald doesn't seem too concerned just yet.

“They come, they come, and I catch it,” Fitzgerald said, via the team’s official website. “They don’t, they don’t. Keep it moving. I don’t really lose any sleep over anything. Like I told you earlier, I work hard to keep an even keel. The plays that come my way, I need to make.”

It is also worth noting that it definitely doesn't seem as though the NFC West franchise will begin to force Fitzgerald the football either as Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray recently stated that he is simply going with the correct reads.

“If the read takes me [to Fitzgerald], it takes me there,” Murray added, via the team's official website.

As it stands today, the middling Cardinals sit at 3-4-1 on the season with Arizona most recently getting blown out on the road by the surging New Orleans Saints.

As for Fitzgerald, the seasoned wideout has recorded only three receptions across the last two games and is currently on pace to finish the year with a pedestrian 76 catches and 894 yards.
