Kyler Murray was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. It was a move that made some question the front office in Arizona, especially after drafting Josh Rosen in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Despite the questions, Murray is a big-time talent and projects to have a very bright future.

Peter Schrager, an NFL analyst for Fox Sports, is a big fan of Murray and sees him doing massive things as a rookie. He went so far as to say that Murray will “light the league on fire” during a segment on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

For those of you who didn't see his comments about Murray, take a look and listen for yourself:

Kliff Kingsbury is without a doubt the best coach Murray could have asked for. He has been willing to build an offense around his quarterbacks skill-set and has a connection with his rookie quarterback going back for quite a few years. Now, it's time to see what they can do on the same team in the NFL for the first time.

Murray put together a massive season last year for the Oklahoma Sooners. He completed 69 percent of his passes for 4,361 yards, 42 touchdowns, and just seven interception. In addition to his passing numbers, Murray picked up 1,001 yards and scored 12 touchdowns on the ground.

Arizona has invested everything they can into their rookie quarterback. He certainly is facing a lot of pressure entering his first season in the league. Those expectations and the pressure that comes with them don't phase Murray or Schrager.

Only time will tell what Murray is really made of, but this is just another bold statement in a long string of positive news surrounding the Cardinals' rookie quarterback.
