The Arizona Cardinals seemingly did the impossible last Sunday, with Kyler Murray finding DeAndre Hopkins in the end zone for a Hail Mary touchdown to defeat the Buffalo Bills. While the ending was a treat for fans across the world, one fan, in particular, may not be fond of the outcome due to it ruining a parlay.

According to ESPN's David Purdum, there was a bettor who created a $2,000 parlay at the William Hill sportsbooks. The parlay included Dustin Johnson winning The Masters, Aryna Sabalenka defeating Elise Mertens in tennis, the New York Giants beating the Philadelphia Eagles, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers covering versus the Carolina Panthers, the Pittsburgh Steelers winning against the spread against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Bills taking down the Cardinals.

Late in the fourth quarter, it looked as if Buffalo would take down Arizona on the road. Josh Allen completed a touchdown to Stefon Diggs with 34 seconds remaining. However, Kyler Murray would drum up some magic for the Cardinals to conclude the game.

The electric signal-caller would escape to his left, while evading defenders, and would hoist the ball to the end zone. Despite multiple defenders making a play on the ball, Hopkins would snatch the ball from the air, giving Arizona the improbable win.

At the same time, the parlay that was created failed to cash, giving the sportsbook a victory. If the Bills were able to hold onto the victory, the parlay would have paid out $96,947.11. You have to hope that the bettor had the wherewithal to hedge their bet by making another bet for the Cardinals to come out on top.
