The last time the two teams met, the Arizona Cardinals took the then-undefeated San Francisco 49ers to the brink of defeat. On Sunday in Week 11 with the loss in their minds, the Cardinals are looking to get out to a lead and never look back.
Midway through the second quarter, rookie quarterback Kyler Murray found wide receiver Pharoh Cooper to give Arizona a shocking 16-0 lead over San Francisco. Watch below.
The play call for the Cardinals is a rather simple one — it's a bubble screen. The two outside wide receivers block downfield, while Cooper backpedals to the sideline, waiting for Murray's pass. After the pass, Cooper — a former All-Pro punt returner — put his defenders on skates to make Arizona's lead that much bigger.
The Cardinals are playing like they are going to get an upset in San Francisco. However, there is still a lot of football left.
