The team bonding has officially started for the New York Knicks as Carmelo Anthony invited a few of his teammates to Puerto Rico.

Anthony, whose father was born in Puerto Rico, invited Derrick Rose, Courtney Lee, Justin Holiday, Kyle O'Quinn, Sasha Vujacic, Marshall Plumlee and Willy Hernangomez for “A Very Melo Weekend” event.

This also served as a pre-training camp bonding session for new and current Knicks players, as it never hurts to get familiar with each other.

New York boasts a lot of new faces after the trade with Chicago that sent Robin Lopez, José Calderón, and Jerian Grant to the Bulls in return for Rose, Holiday and a second-round pick.
