Carmelo Anthony feels that the New York Knicks have enough storylines around them to be featured on the Christmas day schedule next season.

NBA schedule makers search for the most intriguing match ups, placing the best and most interesting teams in featured games throughout the season.

Anthony believes that the league will deliberately schedule the Knicks against the Bulls, on either Christmas or opening night.

The players provide all of the storylines needed to make this contest intriguing.

The Knicks traded for Derrick Rose and signed Joakim Noah, both former Bulls pillars. Anthony almost signed with the Bulls two years ago, but declined to return to New York.

The Bulls signed Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo. They’ll join a budding star in Jimmy Butler, a player growing into his own just as Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis is starting to.

That's just the right amount of draw for the league to capitalize on, and advertise to send the fans' anticipation through the roof.
