George Karl‘s controversial rants in his new book, Furious George, sparked the attention of many and made them share their opinions publicly about them.

Sacramento Kings forward Caron Butler is the latest member of the basketball community to give his thoughts about how his former coach is hurting his legacy. He also did not hold back and went as far as calling George a “dysfunctional” member of the NBA family.

The 36-year-old Connecticut product made it known that he had good relationships with his previous coaches but could not connect with Karl last season when he was with the Kings. However, he called for everyone to pray for him and still wished him well despite the infamous excerpts from the book that have already been leaked.

“I'm praying for him, man. I pray that everything turns and works out in his favor at some point. Because you don't want to get to the point where you alienate yourself from the people who you was once giving guidance to.”

At this point, many people are already looking forward to getting a copy of Karl's essay and will likely be a much talked about book for a long time. He may earn a lot from it as it is already expected to be a top-seller, but he'll definitely lose a lot of friends and fans from it as well.
