The Boston Celtics are going all in to get Kevin Durant. They even called in a ringer.

That's right, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was present for Durant's meeting with the Celtics in the Hamptons on Saturday.

While it may seem like this was just a random Brady spotting in the Hamptons – after all, the rich and famous due tend to spend summers there – his presence at the meeting was confirmed by multiple sources, via ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Unlike the Clippers and Warriors, who brought multiple All-Star players to their respective meetings with Durant, the Celtics don't boast the same big-name roster and thus needed to bring in an outsider to sweeten the pitch. However, some NBA executives were apparently confused why it was Brady, since he's an Under Armour guy, and Durant is a Nike-sponsored athlete.

But then again, it's Tom Brady representing Boston. So there's that.
