Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis may be relatively new to Boston, but it sounds like he has a lot of faith in the chemistry developing with Celtics star Jaylen Brown. Even in just a handful of games, Porzingis can tell that he is a good pair with Brown, as he told Jared Weiss.

“We're still in the beginning stages because I think our chemistry, it's just going to get so much better,” Porzingis said. “Like, I'm telling you, you're just going to see, it's going to get a lot better. But I love playing with him.”

Celtics off to great start behind Kristaps Porzingis

The Celtics have been one of the best teams in the league to start the season, jumping out to a 7-2 record despite having to implement new parts into their regular rotation. Porzingis has appeared to fit in extremely well next to Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, averaging nearly 20 points and over 6 rebounds per game so far this season.

The Celtics look like a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference, as they currently lead the league in net rating (+13.3.) and have both a top-5 offense and defense in the early goings. While it's a small sample size, it's a good sign for Joe Mazzulla and the Celtics that there hasn't been a lengthy feeling-out period that you typically get when making such major changes.

Part of that can be attributed to glue guys like Derrick White and Al Horford being able to adjust seamlessly to different roles, but veterans like Porzingis and Jrue Holiday deserve a lot of credit for not rocking the boat, either.

We'll see just how far the Porzingis and Brown partnership can help carry the Celtics this season, as it definitely looks like Boston has all the makings of a team very capable of winning a championship this season.
