Teams around the league are shaping up their roster with start of training camp being just over a month away.

In light of that, Keith Smith of RealGM is reporting that the Boston Celtics have agreed to a deal with former Syracuse guard Andrew White to a deal.

White was not selected in the 2017 NBA Draft but did play with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Summer League last month. The 24-year-old played just one season with Syracuse where he led the team with 18.5 points per game on 43.9 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. He also set the school single-season record with 112 made 3-pointers, which was previous 107 set by Gerry McNamara in the 2004-05 season.

Prior to that he has played at Kansas but decided to transfer to Nebraska after two years in search of more playing time where White spent just one season with the Cornhuskers where he averaged 16.6 points in 34 games played before spending his senior year with Syracuse.

White has an opportunity to latch onto one of the final roster spots if he can prove to be a valuable scoring option in the preseason. If not it could be an opportunity to latch onto on a two-way deal with the team or join their G-League affiliate.
